Rome, Ciociaria, and Naples: A Journey Through Italian History and Culture

• Day 1 – Rome: Explore the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, symbols of ancient Rome. Lunch and a city center tour (Trevi Fountain, etc.).
• Day 2 – Rome: Visit the Vatican (Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica). Lunch, then explore Trastevere, the Orange Garden, and the Keyhole of Rome.
• Day 3 – Rome: Discover the Jewish Ghetto, Tiber Island, and visit either the Capitoline Museums or the Borghese Gallery.
• Day 4 – Rome: Walk along the Appian Way and explore the Catacombs of San Callisto. Lunch and a visit to the Coppedè District. 4 NIGHTS IN ROME
• Day 5 – Ciociaria: Visit Anagni (Cathedral with crypt, Boniface VIII Palace, and historic center), followed by lunch. Explore Ferentino’s Acropolis and historic center.
• Day 6 – Ciociaria: Visit Civitavecchia di Arpino, lunch at the Acropolis Gardens, and explore Arpino’s center. Then, visit Isola del Liri waterfall and Sora.
• Day 7 – Ciociaria: Visit Casamari Abbey, Fumone, and Alatri.
• Day 8 – Ciociaria: Visit Picinisco, including Casa Lawrence, with activities and cheese tasting + lunch. Explore Atina (La Ferriera Winery – wine tasting) and San Donato. 4 NIGHTS IN ARPINO OR SORA
• Day 9: Visit Montecassino Abbey, Albaneta, and Cassino (cemeteries), then travel to Naples. 5 NIGHTS IN NAPLES
• Day 10 – Naples: Explore Spaccanapoli, the Cloister of Santa Chiara, and the Veiled Christ (stop at Caffè Gambrinus). After lunch, visit Naples Underground.
• Day 11 – Naples: Visit the Marechiaro district, followed by lunch. Explore the Chapel of San Gennaro, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Castel dell’Ovo.
• Day 12 – Capri: Free visit of Capri.
  • Ferry to Capri (25 min) and free time to explore its natural beauty and iconic landmarks.
• Day 13 – Amalfi: Visit Amalfi’s historic center and the Blue Grotto. Visitors can access the grotto via boats departing from Amalfi’s port (round-trip from Molo Pennello for €10, excluding the entrance fee to the grotto).
• Day 14: Explore the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
